Todd Pauley serves as the Deputy CISO and Cybersecurity Coordinator at the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Along with being responsible for internal infosec functions at TEA, he also works with districts and education service centers around the state to promote cybersecurity. With over 25 years’ experience in various areas of information technology, Todd has been serving TEA since 2013. Before finding his calling in cybersecurity, he has held roles in desktop support, system administration, network engineering, front-end development and even spent some time as an IT auditor conducting risk assessments of internal applications at TxDOT. A West Virginia native, Todd also provided IT support for school districts there before moving to Texas in 2004.
