Paul Cordova has a wide variety of law enforcement experience, to include: Detentions, Patrol, Dispatch, Accreditation, Training, Criminal and Administrative Investigations, Courtroom Security, Dignitary Protection, SWAT, Hostage Negotiations, Bomb Squad, Marine Operations, Aviation Operations, Camera Monitoring, Homeland Security and Emergency Management. While pursuing his career, Paul was able to attain a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Paul also graduated from several highly regarded training programs: FBI National Academy, LEMIT Leadership Command College, FBI LEEDA and FBI LEEDS. Paul worked at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 32 years and honorably retired as a Senior Captain in the Homeland Security Bureau. At the Rice University Police Department, he served as the Operations Captain and the Support Services Captain. At the Houston ISD Police Department he served as the Assistant Chief of Police, Interim Chief of Police and the Chief of Police. He is currently the Chief of Police at the Aldine ISD Police Department.
