Amy Manning is a dedicated educational leader with a passion for fostering academic growth and creating a positive learning environment for students. With a Master of Education in Administrative Leadership from Sierra Nevada College and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as the first Principal of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s Healing Center.
In her role, Amy will launch and lead the new school that will educate children who are victims of sex trafficking. She will establish and execute a vision to accelerate learning for all students who will arrive at various education levels. Her commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment aligns perfectly with St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
Amy’s career in education spans over a decade within the Clark County School District (CCSD), where she has held various leadership positions. Most recently, Amy served as the Principal of Ruby Duncan Elementary School, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership skills in collaborating with staff and implementing strategies to enhance student achievement.
Throughout her term in CCSD, Amy has excelled in building partnerships with families, staff, students, and the community. She is known for her ability to maintain a positive school climate by being present and visible, implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support school-wide, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
In her previous roles as Assistant Principal, Special Education Instructional Facilitator, and Special Education Teacher at Joseph Neal Elementary School, Amy honed her skills in data analysis, instructional coaching, and curriculum development. She has a proven track record of implementing programs that promote academic growth and social-emotional learning among students.
