My Name is Jonquez Moore, and I am a transportation professional currently serving as Director for Transportation Services at Little Elm Independent School District. Before this, I was Transportation Director at Cedar Hill ISD, and prior to that, I worked as a Transportation Supervisor at Northeast ISD (NEISD) in San Antonio — one of the largest school districts in Texas.
I oversaw training for a fleet of 400 buses and hold certifications as a CDL Examiner and CDL Administrator. I’m also a Certified Smith System Trainer and Certified Bus Driver Instructor through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, a State Certified School Bus Driver Instructor, a certified TDLR Driver’s Education Instructor (Behind the Wheel/Classroom), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certified.
As an instructor for the Texas Transportation Operations Academy, I teach courses covering State Reporting, Accident Investigations & Reporting, Human Resources/Documentation, Operations Functions (Dispatch, Routing, Field Trips), Presentation Techniques, Driver Training/FMCSA Overview, Leadership & Communication, Student Management, Transportation Budgeting/Purchasing, Shop Management, and Technology in Transportation.
