For the last 18 years, she has been honored to serve the citizens of Seminole County as a law enforcement professional. In 2016, she was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and assigned to the School Safety Division. Through groundbreaking collaboration with Seminole County Public Schools, her team has redefined safety protocols and serves as a blueprint for districts nationwide. They had implemented creative school safety solutions and technology while adhering to the cornerstones of school safety leading practices.
In addition to serving as the Deputy Director of School Safety, she also sits on the Board of Officers for the Florida Association of School Safety Specialists (FS3) and an instructor with the National Tactical Officers Association. As Founder of Campus Shield Consulting LLC, I she provides K-12 educational institutions comprehensive safety solutions nationwide. Her expertise extends beyond local initiatives, as she presents at national conferences on a wide range of school safety topics, influencing best practices and shaping the dialogue around safer educational environments.
