Product & Training Program Manager, School Safety Task Force
Ryan Streeter serves as the Product & Training Program Manager for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) School Safety Task Force. Ryan oversees the development, launch, and maintenance of the task force’s product and training suites to assist the school safety community advance their preparedness and response capabilities.
Ryan’s emergency management and homeland security career began in 2012 with Hurricane Sandy and, most recently, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s “If You See Something, Say Something®” Campaign. His experience working with state, local, and federal partners spans more than 15 years and includes each branch of government

Preventing School Violence: Improving School Security to Protect the K-12 Community
Join the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's School Safety Task Force to explore the complex set of dynamic and evolving security risks that K-12 schools and school systems face. The presenter will share research-informed strategies and recommendations that enhance safe and supportive learning environments through collaborative, holistic and actionable approaches to reducing violence.Learning Objectives
- Equip session participants with resources, tools, and best practices for ongoing enhancement of school safety systems at their respective schools.
- Provide session participants with the knowledge to assess their school’s current threat environment and protection measures.
