Officer Dingman has been a commissioned police officer in the state of Texas since December 2020. He has a Bachelors in criminal justice from UTSA. He worked as a school resource officer for a year and a half and is currently assigned to the community engagement division as well as being a active member on negotiations team.
Currently, Officer Dingman holds 1400 TCOLE training hours. He holds an intermediate peace officer license. A few highlights of his trainings are Felid Training Officer, TCOLE instructor, Mental health police officer, School Based Law Enforcement Active Shooter, Police Bike certified, Basic negotiations, as well as being a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E).

Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Course
Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, medical issues, and drills. Participants in this four-hour Train-the-Trainer course will receive a manual and PowerPoint presentation suitable for use in their own presentations.
