Communications Branch Program Specialist, School Safety Task Force
Ms. Laura Kime serves as Communications Branch Program Specialist for the School Safety Task Force at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. In this role, Ms. Kime enhances the safety and security of the nationwide K-12 school community across the country by supporting multiple communications channels (social media, electronic newsletters, etc.) in effectively sharing information and resources with key stakeholders and the public regarding critical school safety topics such as mental health, emergency planning, and targeted violence, and assisting with the development and execution of strategic communications plans designed to supplement programmatic efforts such as new product development, partner management, and events.
